Skype Founders Move Towards TV with Joost
The founders of the popular VoIP company, Skype, is moving towards TV with a new venture.
With Skype winning the battle with VoIP and the founders holding all of this money, what's a billionaire to do?
Build another money-making company, what else?
ECommerce Times reports on the what the founders of Skype are doing. The founders are starting a new venture called Joost, which enables broadband users to watch TV over the Internet. It requires a client download, but according to some beta testers, guess what? They are currently watching television over the Internet.
This just confirms my statement about the Internet becoming a utility instead of a luxury.
