You could consider this a small business technology effort on the sellers part. It just amazes me the amount of detail and time some people put into certain tasks to make a profit.
With Halo gone gold this week, I'm sure a lot of kids will be looking for a Halo costume for Halloween just to get into the spirit of things. However, this Halo costume is a bit extreme.
Hurry, it ends tonight at 10:30pm EST! Get your bid in! :-)
I've been looking around and pricing digital frames lately and I came across digitalframez.com. Whether you're looking for lcd digital frames, a digital picture frame, or even a remote-controlled digital frame, you'll definitely find a size that fits your corner table.
The site was well designed and I especially liked the quick currency exchange function. Select a different country and you see how much it is immediately.
I noticed their free 256MB SD card (Secure Digital) promotion on the home page, which is definitely good to throw in as a filler. At first, I thought, why would you want a small SD card? You wouldn't need a huge card. I imagine you'd be scrolling through pictures all day to find the right picture. So they made a good choice with picking a large, but not tiny SD card to tempt customers.
The awesome people at Rooster Teeth released the 100th final episode of Red vs. Blue.
For those who haven't seen Red vs. Blue, I would definitely recommend watching the final episode and then watch the entire seasons from start to finish.
I can't believe it's been four years since the first episode of Red vs. Blue.
Guitar Hero is one of those games you have to try just to see if you can. Just make sure you don't have anyone else around you. It's hilarious.
I have to admit that I liked playing Guitar Hero on the Playstation at my friends house and yes, I did look silly playing that guitar, swinging my arms and the guitar into the air.
C'mon...you've played the air guitar once in your lifetime. Admit it! Fun, isn't it?
Jonathan Coulton previously was a programmer, but decided to pursue other avenues in his life.
One of his greatest songs, in my opinion, is Code Monkey. The song talks about basically a programmer's life and what he has to deal with everyday.
Each individual song he released is $1 or entire CDs are $10 through PayPal and are quite worth the investment.
My first computer was a Commodore VIC-20. I was so happy when my parents got this for me!
I remember vividly I was doing a Bill Gates after owning it for a couple months ("I'll never need more than 37K for my programs.")
And yes, I remember the commercial with William Shatner.
Only in California can you see the Jet-Powered VW...hehehe....only in California... LOL
Really interesting read. Almost sounds like the end of the world? Nahhh.
The part I thought was fascinating with the meteor hitting Earth on May 25 was this statement:
Julien argues that the kinetic energy of even a 'car sized' fragment will impact the Earth with devastating effect. He concludes the May 25 event is tied in to the Bush administration's policy of preemptive use of nuclear weapons against Iran and the effect of nuclear weapons on the realms of higher intelligence.
Higher intelligence, huh? Ok...are we talking about extra-terrestrials or a meteor or even the government?
